Instagram recently released the latest update for Android, the Android 5.1. Instagram claims that this is a faster and more efficient design.

Compared to the earlier version this one is definitely cleaner and more easy to navigate around.

Instagram has managed to make the app half its original size, thus making it faster. They have also, redesigned the spacing aspect, so that a consistent experience can be provided through all screen sizes and devices.

There are no new filters and the only difference in the usage, is the fact that the image editing options have been brought to the bottom of the screen, in this version. This is to provide easier navigation through the app, on larger devices.
